The Biden infrastructure legislation will soon be funding billions of dollars worth of public construction across the country.  At the present time there is a shortage of skilled workers to fill the many jobs.  According to this article there will be a concentrated effort to recruit and train women and people of color within the trade union apprenticeships.  Not only is the work increase but so is the rate of retirement of the workforce.
